Therapy That Helps You Feel Grounded
Compassionate therapy centered around you.
Therapy should help you feel more connected to yourself, your relationships, and your life.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship struggles, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can offer a space to slow down, feel understood, and begin creating meaningful change.
Many of the people I work with appear high-functioning on the outside while internally feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or overwhelmed.
My role is to help you slow down, make sense of patterns that may feel overwhelming or confusing, and support you in creating meaningful change at your pace.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’ve been holding things together on your own for a long time. I offer complimentary consultations. This is a low-pressure opportunity to ask questions, talk through what’s bringing you in, and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
How Therapy Can Help
Therapy can help you better understand yourself, feel more emotionally grounded, and navigate life with greater clarity and confidence.
What are the benefits of therapy?
Greater Self-Awareness
Healthier Coping Skills
Improved Emotional Regulation
Stronger Relationships & Boundaries
Healing From Past Experiences
Feeling More Connected to Yourself
Many people come to therapy feeling disconnected, stuck, or emotionally exhausted. Therapy can help you reconnect with your needs, values, and sense of self in a more meaningful way.
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. The process is collaborative, and together we’ll explore what support, growth, and healing look like for you specifically.
Meet Dave
My approach to therapy is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to you.
I draw from Relational Gestalt Therapy, Mindfulness-Based CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotion-Focused Therapy to help clients better understand themselves and create meaningful change. Rather than applying a rigid formula, I focus on finding an approach that genuinely fits who you are and what you need.
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, am licensed in California (LMFT #150660), and am a certified mindfulness educator. My work is deeply influenced by mindfulness and my own meditation practice, which shapes how I show up in session — grounded, present, and genuinely engaged.
At the center of my work is the belief that healing often begins when people feel truly heard and understood. I want therapy to feel human, relational, and safe enough for you to explore what’s really going on beneath the surface.
Take The First Step
Reaching out is often the hardest part. The consultation is a chance to talk through what’s bringing you in, ask questions, and see whether therapy feels like the right fit.
